Is it safe to order online?
Absolutely! The Taunina online store uses Comodo SSL technology to ensure safe Internet transmission of your personal information. If, however, you still feel uneasy about ordering online, please feel free to email us and we will contact you to arrange the order.
Are my personal details safe with Taunina?
Taunina practices safe e–commerce. We do not store credit card details, and under no circumstances do we share any of our customers’ information with third parties. We only retain customer information for further communication with our customers. If at any time you would like your information be removed from our files, please contact us.
What currency will be reflected on my bank statement for my Taunina purchase?
Taunina currently processes website orders from around the world in USD, but your purchase will most likely appear on your credit card statement in your local currency. Although we list indicative prices in Pounds Sterling and Rand, they are subject to currency rate fluctuations. Indicative Rand prices are based on an implied FX cap of: $1USD = R8.30 (Rand) and are available by calling the studio prior to making the purchase online (+27 (0) 21 461 7719), or by making your purchase directly from our Cape Town studio.
What is your refunds/exchange/cancellation policy?
We stand behind our products and accept returns of any online purchase for full refund if the item is damaged upon receipt. Returns must be made in their original packaging and within five days of delivery. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns for undamaged items or items purchased through one of our retail partners. Cancellation requests will be honoured if emailed to us within 3 hours of placing your order.
Please remember that each Taunina collectable soft toy is lovingly hand made in our studio. They are perfectly imperfect and these irregularities form part of their beauty.
Should you need to return a damaged item, please email us for our refund/exchange procedure and our address closest to you.
What if my goods are damaged or faulty?
We take great care ensuring your Taunina Bear has been checked for damages prior to delivery. If, however, your Taunina Bear or its hatbox is found to be damaged or faulty on delivery, please notify us within five days of receipt for either a full refund or to select a replacement.
How do I know if my order is placed?
Taunina will send you a confirmation of your order via email. Please check your order confirmation carefully, and advise immediately if there are any discrepancies. Please note that the confirmation email will be your receipt of purchase. For environmental concerns, we do not issue paper receipts unless specific requests are made.
It is important that customers ensure that they enter their shipping addresses accurately. Taunina can’t take any responsibility for loss due to incorrect delivery addresses.
Is wrapping/ packaging provided?
Each Taunina Bear is sent out into the world with his or her very own unique passport and travels inside a beautiful and re-usable hatbox.
