The unusual flowers of this beautiful azure-blue scene are reminiscent of Victorian botanical illustrations. The magnificent Delft blues of iconic Liberty prints are repeated in butterfly and bird appliqué motifs and complemented by embroidery detail in lilac, soft pinks and lime-green.
